Crossings

Crossings examines pedestrian crossings as structured sites of movement within the city. Crosswalks are functional systems, but their repeated stripes and regulated signals also create a graphic setting where individuals enter, cross, briefly align, and separate. The photographs attend to how people move through these marked zones within the fixed geometry of the street, where posture, direction, and spacing become visually pronounced. Seen together, the images describe moments of coordination, separation, and coexistence within shared public space.
