Wisconsin & M

Wisconsin & M is a photographic series centered on a single intersection in Washington, D.C. The photographs observe how pedestrians, vehicles, storefronts, signals, and crosswalks combine to shape a shared public environment where movement and pause are continuously negotiated. Across repeated visits, the work traces moments of gathering, waiting, crossing, and dispersal as individuals briefly align within the shifting rhythms of the street. Gestures, postures, glances, and spatial relationships emerge within this structured urban system, revealing how everyday public life is organized through circulation, proximity, and the temporary choreography of the city.
