Work Pauses examines moments of pause within working life. Across storefronts, sidewalks, markets, transit corridors, and city streets, workers wait, rest, prepare, and occupy the spaces where their jobs unfold. The photographs focus on intervals between tasks, customers, assignments, and shifts, observing how people remain situated within the structures and routines of their occupations as activity temporarily slows.
